Job Description

About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers sourced from various lead generation channels 2. Utilize sales pitches to effectively introduce products and services to potential buyers 3. Identify decision-makers and influencers within target organizations or households 4. Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, features, and benefits 5. Demonstrate product knowledge during sales calls to address customer inquiries and objections effectively 6. Highlight unique selling points and competitive advantages to differentiate our offerings in the market 7. Build rapport with prospects and engage them in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and preferences 8. Present compelling sales propositions tailored to individual customer requirements 9. Overcome objections and negotiate terms to secure sales closures 10. Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM/Internal Data system 11. Cultivate relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals 12. Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture them through the sales funnel 13. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction 14. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets 15. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, conversion rates, and revenue generated 16. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics for management review Requirements: 1. Proven experience in outbound sales or telemarketing roles, preferably in the e-commerce or agri industry 2. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively 3. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with customers 4. Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 5. Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools is desirable 6. Adaptability and resilience to handle rejection and overcome challenges in a dynamic sales environment 7. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus 8. Familiarity with Excel is mandatory 9. Proficiency in local language such as Marathi, Hindi, or any regional language is a must 10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer availability 11. Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction 12.
