Job Description

Role Overview: As an On-site Technology Support Specialist at EY, your mission is to provide a fit-for-purpose support service to customers within the country or site. You will be responsible for facilitating various technology support activities, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and work with multiple software and hardware technologies in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and support the deployment of hardware and software to end users, including installation, configuration, and testing of firm hardware. - Assist in provisioning and deprovisioning processes, setting up hardware/software for new hires, and receiving hardware from separating employees. - Coordinate the repair of end-user hardware and reinstallation of software to resolve incidents. - Resolve incidents related to firm-standard end-user software and hardware, including mobile/hand-held technologies, and identify trends to prevent future occurrences. - Provide after-hours service for escalated issues and tasks from the Service Desk or supervisor under minimal supervision. - Perform asset management activities such as procurement, inventory, tracking, and distribution as assigned. - Assist with off-site technology support for firm-sponsored functions/meetings and IT tasks related to office moves, buildouts, and relocations. - Act as remote hands for other EY Technology functions and maintain a thorough understanding of EY Technology's organization and service offerings. - Anticipate and resolve end-user technology issues affecting the productivity of Firm personnel. Qualifications Required: - Effective analytical skills to address end-user incidents and prioritize incidents being worked on. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is desirable. - Approximately 2-4 years of experience in end-user technology support.
