Associate (TAS)

You will be responsible for executing Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) projects on buy-side, sell-side, or carve out. Your main tasks will include delivering high-quality projects within project timelines and budgets, identifying and escalating potential engagement-related risks and opportunities, establishing strong relationships with the engagement team, and identifying growth and improvement areas during engagements and day-to-day operations. Additionally, you will assist Managers, Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Peers in initiating and developing new initiatives and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Execute Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) projects - Deliver projects within timelines and budgets - Identify and escalate engagement-related risks and opportunities - Establish strong relationships with the engagement team - Identify growth and improvement areas - Assist in developing new initiatives and processes Qualifications Required: - Understanding of Financial Statements, trial balances, accounting concepts, and practices - Knowledge of Mergers and Acquisitions and value considerations - Awareness of concepts like EBITDA, Working Capital, Capital Expenditure - Understanding of valuation methods (e.g., DCF, EBITDA multiple, LBO, etc.) - Knowledge of ratios and margins (e.g., DIO, DSO, DPO, Contribution margin, etc.) - Team player with effective communication skills - Proficient in MS-Office - CA/CPA/MBA finance qualification Grant Thornton INDUS comprises GT U.S. Shared Services Center India Pvt Ltd and Grant Thornton U.S. Knowledge and Capability Center India Pvt Ltd.
