Job Description

Approximately 6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP IS-U Technical / ABAP Consultant.
Strong expertise in ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects (OO) development within the SAP IS-U environment.
Proven experience with SAP IS-U modules including Billing & Invoicing, FICA, Device Management, Meter Reading, and Customer Service.
Hands-on experience with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and RICEF development.
Strong experience in SAP integrations using IDocs, BDC, Proxies, and Web Services.
Solid understanding of SAP IS-U data structures and utility business processes.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills and experience in technical documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and support technical solutions within the SAP IS-U environment to enable efficient utility business processes.
Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP IS-U solutions using ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects (OO).
Implement and support enhancements using BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and the SAP Enhancement Framework.
Develop and maintain RICEF objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
Build and optimize custom developments across SAP IS-U modules such as Billing & Invoicing, FICA, Device Management (DM), Meter Reading (MR), and Customer Service (CS).
Design and support integrations using IDocs, BDC, Proxy/Web Services, and other SAP integration technologies.
Perform performance tuning, debugging, and root cause analysis for technical issues.
Support testing activities (unit testing, SIT, UAT) and provide production support as required.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and documentation requirementsQualifications

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
