You will lead efforts to ensure effective virtual desktop solutions and provide guidance to junior administrators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning and Design: - Develop and implement a strategic vision for Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix that aligns with the organization s goals and objectives. - Lead the design and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix infrastructure, including advanced features, policies, and optimizations. 2. User Support and Training: - Provide expert support for end-users of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix, addressing complex issues related to virtual desktop access, application usage, and performance. - Offer training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 administrators and end-users. 3. Advanced Troubleshooting: - Provide Level 3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix-related issues and incidents. - Conduct root cause analysis for challenging technical problems and implement expert solutions. 4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: - Oversee the monitoring of the performance and availability of virtual desktop environments. - Implement advanced performance tuning and optimization strategies. 5. Security and Compliance: - Ensure that Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance. - Monitor and address vulnerabilities to reduce security risks. 6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix configurations, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting procedures. - Collaborate with senior administrators to create and update knowledge base articles.
