Job Description

As a Salesforce Renewal Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of renewal contracts in an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on securing renewals, minimizing financial attrition, and identifying growth opportunities. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Customer Success & Growth (CSG) teams to ensure successful renewals and maximize the financial results for Salesforce. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute negotiation strategies for contract renewals to maximize contract value and enhance customer trust - Own and manage the renewals process in collaboration with account teams - Work closely with Customer Success, Account Executives, and Sales Operations to facilitate successful renewals - Identify customer requirements, address any roadblocks, and see the renewal through to completion - Communicate risks effectively and take proactive measures to mitigate them - Maintain and update a rolling 120-day forecast of your territory, highlighting any renewal risks for internal resolution - Adhere to best practices for internal processes including Opportunity Management, Data Quality, and Forecasting - Achieve financial and strategic targets by minimizing attrition, securing favorable terms, and driving incremental revenue through up-sells, cross-sells, and add-ons Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years of experience in Sales, Operations, or Account Management focusing on contract negotiations - Strong negotiation skills for value-based contract discussions with customer billing contacts - Proficient in process management with the ability to handle a high volume of transactions - Customer management experience - Bachelor's Degree Desired Skills/Experience: - Knowledge of salesforce.com product and platform features - Experience with an enterprise CRM or customer service application, with familiarity with salesforce.com considered a plus - Ability to manage transactions through all stages Leadership Qualities: - Passionate about Customer Success - Embraces a learning mindset and approaches interactions with openness and attentiveness - Demonstrates urgency in driving business value and results - Fosters a team-oriented culture and embodies the company's values - Trusts in the core values of the company - Excels in adapting to uncertainty and change If you believe in driving customer success, value-based negotiations, and maximizing renewal opportunities, then this role as a Salesforce Renewal Manager is the right fit for you.
