Associate - Real Estate Strategy

Role Overview: As a Corporate and Workplace Solutions Workplace Experience - Real Estate Strategy - Transactions and Planning Associate at Goldman Sachs in Bengaluru, you will collaborate with various divisions of the firm to understand workplace needs and shape the future workplace strategy to enhance productivity, foster community, and support talent recruitment and retention. Key Responsibilities: - Lead client engagements, manage relationships with divisional leaders, and address space requirements and new business initiatives for India - Review and analyze space utilization, seat demand, and occupancy levels to provide recommendations based on internal policy - Oversee headcount tracking vs. capacity and optimize footprint - Develop project scope, layouts, budget, and schedule for client requests, and create Program Document for sign-off by business and senior leadership - Coordinate capital-related projects, pipeline reports, project updates, budget, and schedule risks, opportunities, and milestones - Drive an integrated Planning function across occupancy/space, technology, and security - Manage asset investment plan over a 5-year period and prioritize site investments - Coordinate with global real estate strategy/planning leads to review and update guidelines, policies, and planning standards - Engage in change management services with clients to evolve the workplace - Keep updated on current trends, best practices, environmentally responsible design, and workplace shifts - Coordinate with Finance and Data Strategy to create workplace spend transparency with clients Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Architecture, Interior Design, Management Consultant, etc.) - Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field - Strong risk and control mindset - Demonstrated client service focus - Experience in Workplace/Project Management/Change Management - Familiarity with financial services industry strongly preferred - Strong English communication skills; other languages a bonus Additional Company Details (if present): Goldman Sachs is a global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace and beyond.
