As a Simulation Engineer, your role involves interacting with customers to understand project requirements and approach. Your key responsibilities include: - Pre-processing tasks such as Geometry Clean-up in Ansys Space claim, assigning material properties, and preparing the model with contacts, loads, and boundary conditions in Ansys Maxwell. - Post-processing activities like interpreting and discussing results, validating results through sanity checks, and comparing results against acceptance criteria. - Providing design recommendations based on analysis results to meet acceptance criteria or optimize designs. - Conducting peer reviews and preparing comprehensive analysis reports. - Regularly interacting with customers to update on project status, discuss deliveries, and ensure project timelines are met. To qualify for this role, you should have: - ME / M Tech (Electrical / Electronic Engineering) with 0 to 1 year of experience or BE / B Tech (Electrical / Electronic Engineering) with 1 to 2 years of experience. - Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory and finite element analysis (FEA). - Experience in carrying out analysis in Maxwell. - Ability to perform analytical calculations using engineering fundamentals. - Capability to comprehend requirements, define analysis approach, and interpret analysis results for providing design recommendations. - Proficiency in tools like Space claim, ANSYS Maxwell, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for creating technical documentation. - Eagerness to learn and excel in simulation-based design. - Ability to work effectively in a team.
