As an SME Engineer specializing in Urea Decomposition Reactor, you will be the technical expert responsible for the design, calculation, product selection, and performance of Urea Mixer sub-systems within regional EATS programs. Throughout all TenPLUS phases of an EATS Product Development Cycle, you will own the release responsibility of these sub-systems. Your role will involve supporting the PE team to meet SME-specific program deliverables, leading technical activities related to Urea Mixer for EATS programs, and performing analytical calculations to ensure appropriate product selection based on the SOR (Statement of Requirements). You will be expected to generate solutions independently or seek advice from global experts, sharing these solutions with the PE team for further discussion with the customer. Additionally, you will lead or participate in discussions related to PDR (Preliminary Design Review) and PFR&A (Final Review and Approval) for assigned Mixer projects. It will be your responsibility to guide all activities towards fulfilling the Customer SOR requirements and ensuring that the quality and technical content of customer prototypes and validation samples align with the development status. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for performing finite element analyses using ABAQUS CAE Software, including pre-processing, solving, and post-processing tasks. You will be conducting steady state and transient thermal, structural, and thermo-mechanical analyses using ABAQUS CAE. In addition, you will need to understand and define contacts, conduct nonlinear analysis, vibration analysis, buckling analysis, etc., using ABAQUS. Analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to have a good grasp of high-cycle fatigue (HCF), low-cycle fatigue (LCF), creep, and fracture mechanics. You will be required to drive technical solutions, engage in reviews with internal and external customers, and prepare analysis reports and certification reports. Timely and high-quality deliveries for complex development projects will be a key focus. The successful candidate should possess a graduate/postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 4 to 5 years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA), preferably in the turbomachinery domain. Strong fundamentals in Finite Element Methods and solid mechanics are required. The LNG Process Engineer is a crucial member of the Process Engineering and Automation team at Chevron's ENGINE Center. In this role, you will be responsible for offering process engineering support to Chevron's business units engaged in Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) operations. Your primary tasks will involve troubleshooting and optimizing existing operating assets, providing process design support to capital projects, and creating and implementing digital tools to enhance process monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pressure vessel design, thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and analytical methods, along with effective interpersonal skills to work with CFT members. Key Responsibilities: Design and development of fluid separation and filtration systems Working on analytical calculation, 3D modelling, detailing, execution, and completion of projects related to compressor fluid separation and filtration systems.
