Job Description

As an Associate Professor, youwill be instrumental in pushing the boundaries of research in Economics/HealthEconomics. You'll not only generate new research approaches but also expertlyidentify, adapt, and apply the most suitable methodologies, leading toimpactful research outputs and publications that resonate nationally andinternationally. A key part of your role will involve conceiving anddeveloping Economics/Health Economics research projects designed toattract external funding. Beyond research, you will take the lead in overseeingand enhancing our teaching and learning experiences, continuously updating yourknowledge and integrating new scholarship into your practice. You'll be a vitalmentor, supervising and guiding both staff and research students. Furthermore,your contributions to the wider academic community and departmentaladministration will be highly valued.

Qualifications and Experience:

Ph.D. in Economics/Health Economics or a related subject area from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience.
Appropriate academic professional and teaching qualifications or a willingness to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
Outstanding qualities and achievements in scholarship and research at a national and international level.
Substantial experience of academic research and teaching experience
A proven track record in research with high quality journal publications and conference presentations.
Extensive track record of teaching and learning in Higher Education at undergraduate and postgraduate level or in a demonstrably similar context.
Ability to provide academic leadership in a research area and to lead a research team where appropriate.
