Job Description

Your role in our mission: As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to assist in planning and designing business processes to support and improve overall business activities. You will be involved in analyzing and documenting client's business requirements and processes, and effectively communicating these requirements to technical personnel. Additionally, you will create test scenarios, develop and modify systems requirements documentation, and participate in client meetings to gather and document requirements. Essential Job Functions: - Assist in planning and designing business processes to enhance business activities. - Analyze and document client's business requirements and processes. - Construct basic conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates. - Create basic test scenarios to verify client requirements in system design. - Develop and modify systems requirements documentation to meet client needs. - Participate in client meetings to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions. - Execute systems tests and analyze test results in various phases. - Participate in technical reviews and inspections to ensure the "intent of change" is carried through project phases. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred. - Three or more years of business analysis experience. - Experience working with the interface of information technology and functional groups. - Knowledge of business processes, re-engineering, and computer programming concepts. Other Qualifications: - Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Effective presentation skills for communication with management and customers. - Proficiency in personal computer and business solutions software. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and multitask effectively. - Willingness to travel as needed. Work Environment: This position is based in an office environment.
