Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working in BCN's Gurgaon office as a part of the Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE). Your role will involve assisting case teams in India and abroad with various cost reduction/optimization activities by offering solutions in areas such as Procurement, Zero-based budgeting, Supply Chain, and cost diagnostics. You will conduct complex data analysis to generate critical insights to help achieve cost objectives, develop seamless solutions, and employ dynamic visualizations on platforms like Power BI and Tableau. Additionally, you will be involved in creating valuable intellectual property for new performance improvement cases globally at Bain. Key Responsibilities: - Work on problem-solving, analytics, research, and content generation to deliver business insights and implications, cases, and deliverables. This may involve leading a team of 1-2 analysts based on case requirements. - Own end-to-end case delivery of Performance Improvement projects related to Procurement / Cost Transformation by assisting case teams, understanding client data, delivering procurement solutions, creating dashboards-based deliverables, and communicating insights effectively. - Utilize research sources and analytical tools to identify data-driven insights, communicate with BCN leadership, case teams, and end clients, demonstrate agility in analyzing diverse business domains, and develop new products/IP. - Lead individual project work streams, groom a team of analysts, and support them as required. Qualification Required: - Graduation/post-graduation with strong academic records and relevant experience in procurement, spend analysis, category management, cost transformation, or performance improvement roles. - Procurement function, process, sourcing, and category-specific experience is a plus. - Excellent analytical, communication, team management, and project management skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of visualization tools like Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI (Python is a plus). - Ability to handle ambiguity, multitask, dynamic case expectations, and work effectively in a team setup. - Effective communication skills to deliver clear and professional presentations to senior stakeholders.
