We are seeking an

Associate Manager, HR Operations ( Payroll & Compliance)

to lead key HR operations initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive process excellence. This role focuses on managing HR operational workflows, leading projects to improve efficiency, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless employee experience at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations projects including onboarding, offboarding, policy rollouts, compliance initiatives, and system/process enhancements.
  • Oversee the accuracy and governance of employee records, contracts, and statutory documents.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and employee experience.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with payroll, finance, legal, and facilities to ensure smooth integration of HR operations with other functions.
  • Build, Track and analyze HR operations metrics (e.g., headcount, attrition, compliance status) and present insights to HR leadership.
  • Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate documentation, statutory compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Support the implementation and governance of HR policies, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.
  • Lead change management and communication efforts for HR process or system implementations.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in HR operations or shared services, with demonstrated experience in leading projects or initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes,Payroll, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Experience in process improvement, HR technology adoption, or operational transformation preferred.
