Associate Manager - FS - Audit

As an Audit Associate Manager in the Withum India office, you will work alongside an integrated team of US and India-based accounting professionals, taking a lead role in all aspects of audit engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the engagement team staff in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements for real estate, technology, and financial services clients. - Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion. - Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, and facilitate open communication with the engagement partner. - Collaborate with engagement team partners to resolve client issues and make recommendations for legal, regulatory, and accounting matters. - Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently. - Create and track engagement budgets to identify and address any inefficiencies during the audit process. - Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide appropriate guidance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or Masters; CPA preferred. - Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, with a track record of leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience in auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is preferred. - Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including a strong understanding of US GAAP. - Outstanding client service and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain exceptional client/internal relationships. - Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects effectively. - Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities to represent the Firm positively to clients" management. - Exceptional analytical, organizational, project management skills, keen attention to detail, and proven problem-solving abilities.
