Job Description

Role Overview: Withum is looking for an Audit Associate Manager to join their team in the India office. As an Audit Associate Manager, you will work closely with a team of accounting professionals based in both the US and India. Your primary responsibilities will include leading audit engagements, supervising staff, and maintaining client relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the engagement team staff in planning and executing audit, review, or compilation engagements for real estate, technology, and financial services clients. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion. - Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, and maintain open communication with the engagement partner. - Collaborate with engagement team partners to resolve client issues and make recommendations on legal, regulatory, and accounting matters. - Manage multiple engagements simultaneously with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently. - Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify and address any inefficiencies during the audit process. - Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide appropriate guidance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or Masters; CPA preferred. - Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience, with a track record of leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience in auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is desirable. - Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including a good understanding of US GAAP. - Exceptional client service and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. - Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects effectively. - Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities to represent the Firm positively to clients' management. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
