Associate - Legal Chief Data Office

As a Data Use Management Analyst in the Legal Data Office, you will play a crucial role in guiding stakeholders through the data use lifecycle to ensure that every data request meets the highest standards of governance and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support decision-making processes, and help foster a culture of responsible data use. Your contributions will enable secure, ethical, and innovative applications of legal data, aligning with both business transformation objectives and regulatory requirements. **Job Responsibilities:** - Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for legal data use - Guide stakeholders through data sharing and approval workflows - Collaborate with Controls, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and other teams to review and approve data use cases - Facilitate meetings and prepare materials to support decision-making and escalation processes - Monitor approved data use cases for compliance and assist with periodic reviews - Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements related to data use and monitoring - Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels - Provide guidance and support throughout the data use lifecycle - Support the Legal Data Use Councils" governance and reporting needs **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in business, technology, communications, or equivalent work experience - Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - Attention to detail and results orientation - Project management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work on multiple priorities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** - Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools - Experience in financial services or a regulated environment - Experience supporting cross-functional teams - Familiarity with data management best practices - Ability to facilitate meetings and prepare decision-making materials - Experience in monitoring and reporting on compliance activities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Please note that all candidates for roles in the Legal department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment.,
