Associate, External Service Provider (ESP) Engagements

You will be supporting the ESP Engagements team in overseeing and supervising pharmacovigilance activities outsourced to External Service Providers (ESPs). Your responsibilities will include ensuring appropriate governance of ESPs, implementing ESP strategies, and collaborating with PS&PV QA in QMS implementation for outsourced activities. You will also act as the Point of Contact (POC) for ESP IT issues, supervise compliance and quality of ESPs, and facilitate knowledge transfer between ESPs and Novartis functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support Associate Director ESP Engagements for the setup of new global ESPs. - Assist in contract setup & management for ESPs. - Manage ESP account including GDDB account, Citrix account, maintenance of dashboard & data, etc. - Collaborate with PS&PV QA in QMS implementation for outsourced activities. - Implement ESP governance and oversight of outsourced activities. - Support process improvement and innovation initiatives at ESPs. - Act as POC for ESP IT issues. - Supervise compliance and quality of ESPs performing activities on behalf of Novartis. - Facilitate knowledge transfer and effective transition of services to ESP. - Manage interactions between ESPs and Novartis functional teams. - Coordinate business visits, audits, and inspections for ESPs. - Track & alert ESP Engagements team of pending compliance issues and propose preventative actions. **Qualifications Required:** - 1 to 2 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance is preferable. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Good planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in M.S. Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI. - Experience in ESP Engagements (preferable). - Project management skills (preferable). - Fluent English (oral and written).
