Job Description

As an Associate Director (WRB) at Standard Chartered Bank, your role involves driving delivery of Credit Risk Scorecards and Credit Risk Strategies for Retail and SME portfolios. Your responsibilities include developing predictive models, customer segmentation analysis, assisting in business implementation of risk models, and providing analytic support to Standard Chartered Businesses globally. You will be expected to lead 2-3 engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards and legislation. You should have a strategic mindset, retail business understanding, and the ability to lead through example while managing risks and adhering to governance. Key Responsibilities: - Drive delivery of Credit Risk Scorecards and Credit Risk Strategies for Retail and SME portfolios - Develop predictive models and perform customer segmentation analysis - Assist in business implementation of risk models and provide analytic support globally - Lead 2-3 engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and compliance - Demonstrate strategic mindset, retail business understanding, and effective people management skills Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Advanced degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, MBA, or a quantitative discipline - At least 4 years of experience in a retail banking/small business lending analytical function - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in statistical modeling and data analysis - Proficiency in statistical programming tools like SAS - Experience in interacting with Business and exposure to international markets is a plus About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank focused on making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
