As a candidate for this role, you will be expected to be well-versed in the forex framework and regulatory FEMA guidelines. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure that Forex Budgets are achieved. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategy:** - Drive overall business performance and efficiency by maximizing returns on products in the allocated portfolio. - Develop and implement Risk Management Strategies for the Treasury Product Suite for a portfolio of customers in the region. - **Business:** - Manage Retail Banking FX Business effectively. - **Processes:** - Adhere to the applicable processes diligently. - **People & Talent:** - Lead by example, build the appropriate culture and values within the team. - Set tone and expectations from the team and collaborate with risk and control partners. - **Risk Management:** - Identify, assess, monitor, control, and mitigate risks to the Group. - Interpret financial information, identify key issues, and implement appropriate controls. - Execute responsibilities under the Risk Management Framework. - **Governance:** - Direct, plan, structure, and oversee frameworks for effective governance. - Assess the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver governance and oversight. - **Regulatory & Business Conduct:** - Display exemplary conduct, live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct. - Collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters. **Skills And Experience:** - FEDAI Certified - Proficient in Excel - Strong presentation skills - Sound market knowledge - Understanding of business products and processes - Proficient in English and local language **Qualifications:** - MBA degree - FEDAI Certification preferred **About Standard Chartered:** Standard Chartered is an international bank with a rich history of over 170 years, dedicated to making a positive impact for clients, communities, and employees.
