Job Description

Role Overview: As the Associate Director of Insurance and Annuity Operations at UBS Financial Services Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Commission Processing, Trade/New Business support, and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve developing strategic plans, leading a team of professionals, implementing process improvements, building strong relationships with carrier partners and financial advisors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration with other business functions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans for Insurance and Annuity operations in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. - Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of retirement operations, including the adoption of new technologies and best practices. - Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and financial advisors, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction with retirement services. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks associated with operations, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures. - Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other business functions. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance and Annuity Operations. - Strong knowledge of DTCC files, Commission processing, and I/A Trading process. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
