Associate Director- Flight Safety

We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join our Flight Safety team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing the Safety Management System (SM) and ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards within the aviation domain. This position is critical for fostering a positive culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering teamwork, implementing effective processes, and ensuring that team deliverables align with company goals.

Qualification:

Minimum Requirements:

At least 15 years of professional experience in:

Safety Management

Quality Assurance

Document Management

Preferred Certifications & Training:

ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.

IATA Aviation Internal Quality and IOSA Auditor Certification

Safety Management System (SMS) Training and Advanced SMS Certification, including Incident Investigation

Root Cause Analysis Training

Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) Training

Dangerous Goods Training

Six Sigma Certification (preferred)

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the organization's flight safety initiatives in alignment with ICAO, EASA, and other regulatory frameworks

Identify, assess, and mitigate flight safety risks through proactive strategies

Develop and maintain a comprehensive flight risk assessment program tailored to operational needs

Oversee quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and customer expectations

Establish and manage internal and external audit processes, including vendor and contractor evaluations

Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational readiness and compliance

Champion continuous improvement in flight safety and quality assurance practices

Review and address Hazard & Voluntary Reports with timely and effective resolutions.
