Role : Associate Director - Design (Apparels) Employer : Buying House / Liaisoning Office in Gurugram / Gurgaon Experience: 15 years to 20 years. CTC: Rs 25 Lpa to Rs 30 Lpa. Category : Women / Men / Kids (All) Manage a team of Designers & Embroidery team Location : Gurugram CTC: Flexible / Competitive Qualification : NIFT / Pearl : B.Design (FD) / M. Design (FD) Working experience in Buying House / Liaisons Office is a must. Position Overview To lead the corporate design team in India. Manage the team of various designers such as Apparel, Accessories, Prints & graphics and 3D. Location- Gurgaon Mandatory / Major exposure in dealing Design for US Market across categories. UK / Germany experience would be good but US exposure is a must. Essential Duties & Responsibilities o Manage the creative process from concept to completion o Deliver presentations to buyers to market our product/designs o Analyze and conduct market research to create more effective designs o Pitching ideas and the creative vision to the client and communicating the project outline to the design team and vendors o Reviewing feedback from clients and making alterations according to the clients' needs o Build relationships with buyers and achieve quality products, timely delivery and cost competitiveness o Provide guidance and leadership to a team of designers and creative professionals o Help a creative team overcome obstacles that arise within a project and offer solutions o Overseeing project budgets o Setting project deadlines o Perform trend forecasting o Collaborate with internal as well as corporate offices/teams o Collaborate with fabric teams to source new and innovative materials within specified timelines and price targets. Travel : Open to travel frequently to US / UK. Outstation candidates are encouraged to apply at the own cost of relocation.
