Associate Compliance Counsel

You will be working as an Associate Compliance Counsel at our Corporate Office in Bangalore (IBC Knowledge Park) and will be part of the Corporate Legal Team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing organization-wide compliance activities, monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and guidelines. You will assess compliance requirements for various functions such as Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Finance, and HR and develop and implement a compliance playbook. Your role will also involve sensitizing stakeholders on compliance, identifying compliance risks, and creating mitigation and remediation plans. Additionally, you will design compliance training modules, conduct training sessions for functional compliance champions, and raise compliance awareness across different functions. It will be essential for you to stay updated on the latest developments in relevant laws and regulations, analyze their impact, and ensure timely compliance. You will provide strategic advice on statutory compliances and travel to different locations across the country for compliance checks and audits. We are looking for individuals who possess strong ethics, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. A positive, agile, and hands-on attitude along with a proactive and solution-oriented approach will be key attributes for this role. You should excel in work prioritization, time management, and have excellent team-oriented and interpersonal skills. The ability to thrive in a challenging start-up environment and a commitment to the long-term growth of the company are crucial. An auditing mindset, legal research ability, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in compliance from reputed organizations are required. A Law Degree from a premier institution and proficiency in Excel and Compliance Management Tools are essential. Understanding of contract drafting and review will be an added advantage.,
