Who are we?

At xto10x, were the scaling partners for high-growth startups. We partner with leaders to help

them (and their companies) navigate the often-bumpy, always-wild journey from 1x to 10x and

beyond, building companies that last. Our work spans strategy, culture, people systems, and

operational excellence, providing a holistic toolkit for building the organizations of tomorrow.

So, whats the gig?

As an Associate Consultant in the people practice, you are the engine room, supercharging our

team as they help the most ambitious founders build high-performing organizations. You're the

analytical and research backbone, diving deep to help architect the fundamental "people operating system" for startups. You will work directly with our Consultants to diagnose clients organizational challenges, analyze data, and build the components for bespoke solutions that align a company's people, strategy, and culture.

What could a "week in the life" look like?

You'll be toggling between deep-dive analysis, managing clients and rolling up your sleeves to get

stuff done. No two days are the same, but your work will likely involve:

  • Data-Driven Insights:

Conducting deep-dive research on best-in-class people practices, benchmarking compensation data, or pulling insights from thousands of employee survey responses to find the real story.
  • Building the "People OS" Components:

Assisting in designing core systems. Think: creating the V1.0 of a competency framework based on the team's design, analyzing pay data to model a new comp philosophy, or building out career path documentation.
  • Client & Project Execution:

You'll be a key point of contact managing project workstreams, keeping everyone aligned to the project workplan, building the client-ready decks that turn analysis into an actionable story, and managing communication with clients.
  • Problem Diagnosis:

Conducting analyses, synthesizing messy notes from stakeholder interviews, and running workshops to help the team accurately diagnose organizational bottlenecks and cultural challenges.

Why you should join us?

  • Insane Exposure:

This is Your 'MBA on Steroids'. You'll get more exposure to high-level strategy, CXO-level problem-solving, and 0-to-1 building in one year here than anywhere else. You'll see what it really takes to scale a company, getting exposure to the DNA of companies you read about in the news.
  • Actual Impact:

This isn't "make the coffee" work. You'll be building the foundational analysis and components that our scaling plans are built on. Its high-stakes, consequential, and frankly, pretty awesome.
  • A Career Launchpad:

You're not just learning "people stuff". You're learning the business of scaling. It's like a career cheat code. Youll gain rare skills that open doors to being a Chief of Staff or a People Leader in a high-growth startup.
  • The Spice of Life (aka Variety):

Boredom is not in our vocabulary. One day you're analyzing an org design for a FinTech, the next you're researching performance systems for a SaaS giant. Your brain will thank you for the workout.

What we're looking for (Is this you?)

We're seeking a person equally excited by "spreadsheets-and-feelings. Heres what the components could look like:

  • Structured Thinking & Problem Solving: You can take a messy, tangled problem & Marie Kondo it into a clear, logical plan. You love a good hypothesis and know how to deep dive
  • Communication That Clicks: You can write a clear, crisp email. You can explain complex ideas to clients without making people's eyes glaze over.
  • A "Founder Mindset": You don't wait to be told what to do. You see a problem, you own it, you fix it. You're resourceful, curious, and allergic to "that's not my job".
  • Analytical Horsepower: You are genuinely excited by spreadsheets (no, really). You can find the signal in the noise and are comfortable turning raw data into a compelling story.
  • You nerd out on startups and 'people stuff': You have a real inclination for this. You're fascinated by what makes fast-growing companies tick & believe that people are the key.
  • The "Paper" Qualifications (The boring but necessary bit):

- 0-1 years of work experience, including incredible internships.

- A fresh graduate from a top-tier university (e.g., Engineering, Economics, or similar degrees that taught you how to think), open to exploring various facets of a startup

- You've survived the glorious chaos of intense college projects, fests, or clubs, and are ready to dive headfirst into the startup ecosystem.

What you get:

  • Market Competitive Pay: We won't make you live on Maggi, unless thats your idea of a fine dinner.
  • A Piece of the Pie (ESOPs): We want you to think like an owner, so we'll make you one.
  • Real Empowerment: You will get a lot of opportunities to punch above your weight. If you like that, its fun.
  • A Genuinely Fun Team: We're a team of smart, driven, and slightly weird people who love a good PJ (Poor Joke) and are serious about our mission. You'll learn a ton, laugh a lot, and probably get added to way too many WhatsApp groups.

If this is something which interests you and would be a good fit as well, please make sure to fill this form to apply - https://forms.gle/PFLihpyd5SaZ2t6VA
