Merchant experience sits at the heart of GoKwik's payments ecosystem. As a Associate - Business Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every new merchant gets started seamlessly with GoKwik Pay. From verifying KYC and business details to coordinating across teams for integrations, you'll be the bridge that transforms signups into successful partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational precision, loves problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a smooth merchant experience.

What You'll Own

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process from application to activation.
  • Review and verify merchant KYC documents, business details, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure timely merchant setup.
  • Provide hands-on support to merchants during technical integration and transaction testing.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and maintain accurate records in CRM or internal systems.
  • Communicate proactively with merchants to resolve onboarding issues and ensure a smooth go-live experience.
  • Contribute to process improvements and workflow automation to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay updated on payment industry regulations, compliance norms, and internal policies.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in merchant onboarding, operations, or payment gateway support.
  • Strong attention to detail with a knack for accuracy in documentation and verification.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills you're comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with KYC processes, payment systems, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Freshdesk, etc.).
