Associate Business Analyst, Transaction Tax Compliance

Role Overview: As an Associate Business Analyst at Ryan, you will collaborate with the India team, consultants, and US managers to oversee projects related to transaction tax compliance, reconciliation, and report preparation. Your responsibilities will include working with extensive client databases, developing necessary procedures, and managing project communications effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Create a positive team experience by actively participating in meetings and contributing ideas for process improvements - Communicate with US counterparts to address queries and provide project status updates - Respond to clients promptly and provide proactive work status updates to the US and India liaison - Prepare reports based on consultant requirements and ensure adherence to Service Line Agreement - Work on data importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, and modeling data for projects - Write Database Queries in SQL Server and reconcile values from various data sources - Develop an understanding of Ryan's service offerings and perform quality assurance measures - Complete assigned tasks with a sense of urgency and confidentiality as directed by Assistant Manager/Manager Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any field - 0-2 years of experience in SQL Server and Java - Basic understanding of Tax and accounting concepts - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines - Good communication skills - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Internet navigation and research - Basic knowledge of SQL queries and databases Additional Details: Ryan offers a Global Award-Winning Culture with benefits such as a Flexible Work Environment, Generous Paid Time Off, World-Class Benefits and Compensation, Rapid Growth Opportunities, Company Sponsored Two-Way Transportation, and Exponential Career Growth.
