Associate Accountant

As an Associate at Clearhouse LLP, you will collaborate with owner-managed enterprises and small to medium-sized businesses across various sectors. Your responsibilities will include organizing data for Canadian corporate income tax return filings, managing multiple files concurrently, preparing financial statements, reviewing bookkeeping records, and facilitating communication with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on tax matters. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with other tax projects as needed and work closely with the client engagement team. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Chartered Accountants degree or equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of three years of accounting experience, including expertise in financial statement preparation and Compilation/Review Engagements. Strong customer service skills, familiarity with accounting and tax software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage), exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving approach are highly desirable. The ability to work effectively in a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in deliverables are key attributes for success in this position.
