Assistant/Associate Professor – Mathematics (Computational Focus)

K.R. Mangalam University invites applications for a Mathematics faculty position with a strong computational background. The ideal candidate will teach foundational mathematics to Computer Science students, integrating computational tools and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core mathematics courses (Linear Algebra, Probability, Calculus, etc.) tailored for CS students
• Integrate tools like Python, MATLAB, or R in instruction
• Design lab sessions and projects with computational applications
• Support curriculum development aligned with industry needs
• Mentor students in applied mathematics and computational thinking

Qualifications:

• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or related field with computational focus
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
• Prior experience teaching or working with CS students preferred

Desirable:

• Experience with Jupyter, SciPy stack, or numerical methods
• Strong academic and research orientation
