Assistant Vice President - Financial Crime and Compliance Capabilities

As an Assistant Vice President - Financial Crime and Compliance Capabilities at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in identifying and managing financial crime risks within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively identify financial crime risk changes and potential impacts - Assess and provide solutions for financial crime risks in the business - Support product reviews presented at governance forums - Collaborate with stakeholders to provide expertise on financial crime matters - Drive consistency in messaging and transparency between FC and 1LOD - Support TP Projects SME support including policy, procedure, transaction monitoring, analytics, and training - Align operating practices with global FC standards and regulatory risks - Resolve identified issues promptly and escalate concerns as needed - Maintain HSBC control standards and comply with the Compliance Policy - Minimize operational risk within the assigned portfolio and implement mitigation and control measures - Provide analysis, advice, and support on FC risks and regulatory developments - Interact professionally with Senior Management and Business Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of work experience in the banking/financial services industry - Proficient knowledge of Transactional Products and associated risks - Strong working experience in TP control mitigating FC Risk - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in a matrixed environment preferred - Ability to lead change and collaborate with global teams - Independent work capability with effective escalation At HSBC, you will be part of a culture that values all employees, fosters continuous professional development, and offers opportunities for growth within an inclusive and diverse environment.
