**Job Description:** As the AVP for Reconciliation Process at our Capital Markets and Securities Services operations, you will be a critical leader responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and enhancing reconciliation functions. Your role will involve managing key stakeholder relationships, driving process improvements, and leading large-scale transitions. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Process Management & Optimization:** - Lead comprehensive reconciliation processes for various capital market products to ensure timely and accurate resolution of breaks. - Deep expertise in Corporate Actions reconciliation is crucial, covering dividends, mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, rights issues, and bond calls. - Develop, implement, and maintain robust reconciliation procedures and controls to mitigate operational risks. - Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains, leveraging technology and best practices. - Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of reconciliation breaks, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. - **People Management & Leadership:** - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of reconciliation professionals in a collaborative work environment. - Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for team members. - Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and promote cross-training within the team. - **Stakeholder Management:** - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration. - Represent the reconciliation team in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management. - **Transition Management & Project Leadership:** - Lead large-scale reconciliation transitions, develop project plans, manage timelines and resources, and work closely with technology teams. - Ensure seamless integration of new processes and systems post-transition, driving process re-engineering efforts for optimal efficiency. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 10+ years experience in Capital Markets and Securities Services operations. - Minimum of 5 years dedicated experience in complex reconciliation processes, specifically in Corporate Actions. - Strong understanding of financial products and their lifecycle, along with team leadership experience. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and proficiency in reconciliation systems and Microsoft Excel. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. **Education:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. - Master's degree or relevant professional certifications like CFA or FRM are a plus.,
