Key Responsibilities

Banking & Partnerships

• Manage relationships with banks and fintech partners (RazorpayX, Cashfree, Setu, Decentro, etc.)
  
• Negotiate SLAs, service agreements, and banking fees independently
  
• Handle corporate current account opening and API onboarding
  
• Drive bank integrations and support new payment product launches
  

Payments & Operations

• Lead UPI, payouts, collections, escrow / VA integration, and merchant operations
  
• Oversee settlements, reconciliation, chargebacks, and daily operational workflows
  
• Improve internal financial processes to ensure reliable and efficient payment operations
  

Compliance & Risk

• Ensure compliance with RBI rules, KYC/AML requirements, and audit needs
  
• Collaborate with CA/legal teams on GST, documentation, and banking compliance
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Work closely with product, tech, finance, and business teams
  
• Provide operational insights and support new feature implementation
  
• Mentor junior team members and strengthen the banking operations function
  

Key Skills / Expertise

• Banking relationship management with private banks and fintech partners
  
• Negotiation of SLAs, service agreements, and banking fees
  
• Corporate current account opening and API onboarding
  
• Payments operations: UPI, payouts, escrow / VA integration
  
• New product launch support and banking integration
  
• Settlements, reconciliation, chargeback handling
  
• Compliance with RBI, KYC/AML, and GST regulations
  
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration
  

Experience & Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in banking or fintech, especially payments and API banking
  
• Strong understanding of UPI, VA/VPA, payouts, settlements, and bank processes
  
• Experience working directly with banks and payment partners
  
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-growing international environment
