Assistant - Transport Modeler

• Strategic modelling using Saturn or VISUM software.


• Understanding of supporting tools e.g. GIS, Excel VBA and Python


• Detailed knowledge to UK Transport Planning and modeling guidelines


• Understanding of software s theories and limitations


• Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables


• Coordinate with Senior Engineers and support graduates in the team


• Research and review design options for both technical and economic impact


• Support line manager in planning resource needs and escalate as required if there are resource or utilization concerns


• Support the company s approach to sustainability


• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings


• Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline
