Assistant - Transport Modeler

You will be responsible for strategic modeling using Saturn or VISUM software and should have a good understanding of supporting tools such as GIS, Excel VBA, and Python. It is essential to have detailed knowledge of UK Transport Planning and modeling guidelines. You should also possess an understanding of software theories and limitations. Your role will involve understanding the contract and scope of project deliverables and coordinating with Senior Engineers while providing support to graduates in the team. You will be required to research and review design options considering both technical and economic impacts. It will be your responsibility to support the line manager in planning resource needs and escalate any resource or utilization concerns as required. Additionally, you will support the company's approach to sustainability and attend/contribute in team and project meetings. Furthermore, you will be expected to complete accurate timesheets by the set deadline. Your knowledge and experience with Saturn, VISUM, and CUBE will be crucial for successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
