Job Description

As a Device Compliance & Setup Specialist at our company, your main responsibility will be to ensure that all company-issued devices meet our standards. This involves installing and maintaining necessary tools such as MDM, XDR, VPN, and disk encryption software. By doing so, you will contribute to the overall security and efficiency of our device ecosystem. Another key aspect of your role will involve Ticket Triage & Resolution. You will be tasked with responding to technical tickets raised by our customer support teams. This includes independently resolving queries when possible or assigning them to the relevant engineering team with appropriate context. Your ability to prioritize and address these tickets efficiently will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations. Additionally, you will provide Internal Technical Support to our internal team members across departments. This will involve addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly, ensuring that our colleagues can perform their roles effectively. Your hands-on technical expertise will be invaluable in supporting our teams and maintaining a productive work environment. Furthermore, part of your responsibilities will include the maintenance of all the E-Assets. This will involve keeping track of electronic assets within the organization, ensuring their proper functioning and security. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as networking concepts. Familiarity with IT security tools like MDM, VPN, and XDR will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with good communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision will also be necessary for success in this position. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role. A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, Freshdesk, or Zendesk will be a plus.
