Job Description

As an Assistant Technical Product Lead, you will play a crucial role in the technical aspects of product development within the team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various team members to drive projects forward, defining the product roadmap, and delivering clear requirements to bring the team's vision to life. You will lead Concept Generation, Prototype development, ensuring the Scope of Work (SOW) is met, and troubleshooting the product throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you will: - Be a key member of cross-functional product development teams, working with Mechanical, Electronics, and Design Engineers, as well as coordinating with Manufacturing departments. - Generate new concepts and prototype them for product feasibility. - Interact with customers, project managers, and key stakeholders to ensure product SOW compliance. - Stay updated on the latest technology trends in the industry. - Utilize your technical expertise to drive the team and motivate them to perform at their best. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including engineers, quality assurance, and developers, to ensure requirements are understood and implementation plans align with expectations. - Thoroughly validate the product before release and define success criteria for testing and acceptance. - Create and maintain proper product documentation. - Continuously develop the product based on feedback from customers, users, service teams, and projects to drive the next level of features. Qualifications Required: - BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Mechanical Engineering. - 5+ years of professional experience in product design, development, or New Product Development (NPD). - Flexibility and adaptability to changing work settings. - Experience in building products from ideation to production. - Knowledge and application of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA). - Hands-on experience in technical calculations and product costing. - Involvement in product reviews and evaluations. - Exposure to value engineering. - Good understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes for various commodities. - Experience with simulation tools is a plus. - Proficiency in the analysis and troubleshooting of automation products. - Knowledge of communication interfaces and testing life cycles.
