Assistant Store Manager

As a Retail Store Manager in a Boutique/Textile Showroom, you will be responsible for interacting with clients to understand their requirements, accurately taking orders, and providing suitable product recommendations to ensure a premium customer experience. Your role will involve coordinating with the Head Office to track and follow up on orders for timely and accurate delivery. It will be essential to maintain an updated swatch library that is well-organized, easily accessible, and regularly refreshed to facilitate smooth client presentations. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of daily sales, expenses, and financial transactions will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to conduct regular inventory audits, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure prompt clearance of IBTs (Inter-Branch Transfers) without any pending backlogs. Monitoring product displays and overall store presentation to align with brand standards is crucial for this role. Your duties will include ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations, such as maintaining cleanliness, coordinating staff, and preparing for client visits. Building and nurturing strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals will be a key aspect of your role. You will collaborate closely with the management team to share performance updates, client feedback, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Supporting marketing initiatives, in-store events, and promotional activities as required will be part of your responsibilities as well.
