Role & responsibilities Should report to the Security Officer Responsible for Safety and Security of Guests and Employees of entire mall. Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures. Liaise with all department heads to ensure mall employees are adhering to established security procedures. Oversee the monitoring of CCTV cameras and footage recording by Vigilance team. Monitor and follow proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property. Conduct regular walk through rounds for observing the entire Mall. Co-ordinate with external police authorities in the investigation of accidents, Government Ministers moments etc., involving the mall, its employees and / or guests. Perform all tasks consistently in line with the mall standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements. Ensure all the Security Equipment's are maintained and used as per SOP. Interview, select, review and train new security Supervisor/ Guards according to mall standards to maintain order throughout the Mall. Make sure the training schedule is being implemented properly. Make sure all records which are to be maintained by security department is inspected on daily basis. Monitor all the material movement in the premises. Monitor all the theft cases in the premises and take appropriate measures to reduce it. Follow up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the well being of guests and employees. Conduct investigations and compile reports on a timely manner for any theft, loss, accidents or any aspect that risk the safety of the mall. Develop budgets for security operations. Be available 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies with in the property. Oversee and guide the efforts of the Accident Prevention Committee. Oversee and guide the efforts of the Fire and Safety Committee. Oversee first aid program for guests and employees. Develop and advise key personnel of emergency procedures. Implement action plans to monitor and control risk. Establish crisis management and contingency planning. Ensure Fire equipment's are maintained and operational at all times. Prepare SOP's for the Fire department. Ensure employees are given training at regular intervals in fire fighting, Safety procedure, evacuation and rescue. Conduct Fire and Safety lectures for all the employees. Develop and execute evacuation plans in case of emergency. Inspect all the checklist in the fire department on daily basis. Preferred candidate profile Age - Below 45 Yrs. Qual: Graduation. Ex-Serviceman (Army, CRPF, CISF, BSF, Airforce). Candidate having experience in Multiplex/Shopping Malls after retirement will be preferred. Computer knowledge in MS Office must. Minimum Height - 5.8 Ft. and above. Should not be overweight.
