Security Supervisor

As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment by using surveillance equipment, conducting patrols, and controlling access to premises. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring & Surveillance: Use surveillance equipment and cameras to monitor premises, identify suspicious activity, and maintain a secure environment. - Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points to discourage crime and ensure safety. - Access Control: Authorize and control the entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, verifying identities and credentials. - Emergency Response: Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action, and communicating with law enforcement and other emergency services. - Incident Reporting: Maintain detailed daily logs of observations, incidents, and surveillance activities, submitting reports to management. - Rule Enforcement: Enforce company security policies, safety regulations, and legal protocols. - Safety Procedures: Perform inspections, ensure doors and windows are secured, and may be required to operate equipment like metal detectors. - Assistance: Provide assistance to people in need and direct visitors and traffic as required. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following essential skills: - Observation Skills: The ability to keenly observe surroundings and identify suspicious behavior. - Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and responding to others. - Judgment: Good judgment to make sound decisions in various situations, especially under pressure. - Calmness: The ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and stressful situations. - Physical Fitness: Physical ability to perform duties such as patrolling and responding to incidents.
