As a Women's Hostel Security Guard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety, security, and discipline within the hostel premises. You will be tasked with monitoring entry and exit points, enforcing hostel rules, and creating a secure and comfortable environment for all residents. Your key responsibilities will include: - Security & Surveillance: Monitoring the entry and exit of residents, staff, and visitors, maintaining visitor logs, checking ID cards, conducting patrols within the premises. - Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all fire exits and safety equipment are functional, reporting any suspicious activity or security breaches, and assisting in emergency evacuations or drills. - Support Duties: Escorting residents during late hours if needed, helping maintain order during emergencies or hostel functions, and providing first-level support in case of medical or security incidents. - Rule Enforcement: Ensuring that hostel rules and curfews are followed by all residents, assisting in maintaining discipline, and reporting any defaulters to the warden. - General Responsibilities: Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene around the guard post, attending security meetings and training sessions, as required. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include a minimum of 10th standard education, prior experience in security services (preferably in hostels or educational institutions), good communication skills in the local language with basic English or Hindi proficiency being a plus, physical fitness and alertness, and possessing qualities of honesty, responsibility, and courtesy in behavior. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. Performance and yearly bonuses are available. The work location is in person at the women's hostel premises.,
