Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for inspecting sold jewellery items for quality, weight, hallmark, and finishing before delivering to customers. Your role will involve verifying product details such as weight, pricing, SKU, diamond/gemstone quality, etc. against the invoice. Additionally, you will ensure that all jewellery sold is properly packed, tagged, and accompanied by the necessary certificates like BIS Hallmark and diamond grading certificates. Key Responsibilities: - Verify the quality, weight, hallmark, and finishing of jewellery items before delivery. - Check product details such as weight, pricing, SKU, diamond/gemstone quality against the invoice. - Ensure proper packaging, tagging, and inclusion of necessary certificates. - Maintain daily records of inspected and delivered items. - Coordinate with sales and stock departments for smooth order processing and timely delivery. - Identify and report any discrepancies or product damage before delivery. - Uphold compliance with internal control systems and safety standards. - Conduct random checks on jewellery stock and sales entries to ensure accuracy. - Address and escalate customer complaints related to product quality when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in jewellery inspection or a related field is preferred. - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments and address customer complaints effectively.
