Assistant Restaurant Manager

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Kerala Cafe in Baner, Pune, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the restaurant to ensure a delightful dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing restaurant operations and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service. - Recruiting, managing, training, and developing the restaurant team. - Handling guest queries efficiently and driving sales to maximize revenue. - Collaborating with the Food and Beverage team to develop menus and conducting monthly stock takes. - Setting departmental targets, work schedules, budgets, and policies while focusing on improving guest satisfaction levels. - Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining positive working relationships. Desired Skills: - Ability to resolve conflicts calmly and demonstrate leadership skills. - Experience in working with a bookkeeper and previous hiring experience. - Strong customer service skills and front-of-house experience would be a plus. - Proficiency in negotiating contracts with vendors and working well under pressure. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to present innovative ideas to management.
