Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Relationship Manager-LAP in the Rural Banking department of Retail Banking, your main responsibility is to deepen relationships with Rural Banking accounts and provide exceptional service to customers. You will need to identify mortgage needs of customers and offer suitable lending solutions, specifically Loan Against Property. Your role also involves driving client acquisition, establishing customer relationships at the household level, and maximizing lifetime value in each relationship to contribute to the larger organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and evaluate client needs to generate new revenue streams through cross-selling opportunities based on their lifestyle, risk profile, and requirements. - Contribute to increasing mortgage business penetration in Rural markets by generating leads and opening accounts according to customer needs. - Map detailed household needs through direct customer interactions. - Perform end-user checks post disbursal of loans to meet monthly and annual group loan booking targets. - Achieve individual and branch sales targets by acquiring new business, generating referrals, retaining account relationships, and ensuring high collections efficiency. - Prepare high-quality loan documentation to minimize queries/rejections from Operations/Credit teams. - Coordinate with operations officer for accurate and timely data entry. - Ensure compliance with bank requirements. Secondary Responsibilities: - Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality throughout the branch network. - Provide support for the implementation of livelihood advancement and community development initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience in sales, customer service, or relationship management in the banking sector. - Strong understanding of mortgage products and services. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to meet sales targets and work effectively in a team.
