Assistant Recruiter

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Recruiter to support our recruitment team in attracting, screening, and hiring top talent. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth recruitment process by coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate databases, and providing a positive experience for applicants. Key Responsibilities: Assist with job posting creation and publication on various job boards and social media platforms. Review resumes and applications, shortlist candidates based on job requirements. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information. Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability. Support the recruitment team with reference checks and background verifications. Organize and maintain recruitment documentation and reports. Participate in job fairs, campus drives, and other recruitment events as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in recruitment or HR-related roles (internship or full-time). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ATS tools. Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the HR field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools is a plus. Familiarity with labor laws and hiring best practices.
