Job Description As an Assistant Purchaser at Tempcon, you will play a key role in managing daily procurement activities to support the efficient operation of the organization. Your responsibilities will include communicating with suppliers, placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. You will be tasked with negotiating prices, maintaining compliance with company policies, and collaborating with various departments to meet production requirements. To excel in this role, you must possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze and compare supplier quotes effectively. Proficiency in inventory management and maintaining accurate records is essential. Your excellent communication and coordination skills will be crucial as you work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers. Knowledge of industrial refrigeration products and markets would be an advantage. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be key to your success in this role.,
