Assistant Purchase Executive

Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Location: Bodakdev

Department: Purchase / Procurement

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Head of Procurement

Experience Required: 1–3 years (Fresher’s with strong interest in procurement can also apply)

Industry Preference: Pharmaceuticals / FMCG

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist in sourcing raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies as per company

requirements.

 Collect quotations, compare prices, and assist in vendor negotiations to ensure costeffective

procurement.

 Maintain and update vendor database with pricing, lead-time, and delivery terms.

 Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.

 Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays or

quality.

 Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure timely payment to vendors.

 Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary.

 Assist in conducting regular vendor evaluations for quality and reliability.

 Maintain accurate records of purchases and ensure compliance with internal policies and

standards.

 Support the Purchase Manager in daily procurement operations and reports.

Key Skills Required:

 Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.

 Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (Tally/SAP preferred).

 Strong negotiation and communication skills.

 Attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Educational Qualifications:

 Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain or related field.

 Diploma/Certification in Material Management or Procurement (preferred but not

mandatory).

Work Environment:

Office-based role with occasional visits to vendors or warehouses.

Salary Range- UP To 20000 k/month

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
