Role Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager - Civil Execution at Guwahati, your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and manage resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will closely collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects according to plan. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the progress of work in alignment with the Master project schedule - Supervise the execution of work at the site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications - Send timely reminders to contractors regarding schedule delays - Verify the workability and adherence to standards in the work statement/methodologies submitted by contractors for each item of work - Anticipate and address imminent bottlenecks to avoid delays; provide reports on critical activities to the client - Advise contractors on enhancing resource productivity through work study techniques - Monitor procurement of materials, equipment, and labor by contractors and suggest measures for improvement - Administer all contracts, assist in resolving differences and disputes, and ensure proper documentation - Assist QA/QC in ensuring quality parameters are met for civil & structural works - Support the safety team in implementing safety standards at the site and providing assistance for job safety analysis - Report abnormal developments to the project manager related to work progress, safety, quality, and resources - Coordinate with the Project Manager internally to clarify specifications and ensure project alignment - Monitor construction activity, schedule, milestones, and budgets; take actions to minimize non-conformance costs - Propose cost-saving solutions and negotiate contractor change orders - Manage the project's risk management process and ensure systems requirements are implemented - Oversee the implementation of project construction & safety management plans Qualifications Required: - B.E. in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in PEB structure and industrial projects - Experience in FMCG or bottling projects will be advantageous - Technical knowledge of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works - Strong organizational and motivational skills - Exceptional attention to detail and observation abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills About the Company: Cushman & Wakefield is a global real estate services firm dedicated to transforming the way people work, shop, and live.
