Job Description

The role of Assistant Project Manager - Civil Execution involves planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards. Construction Project Engineers collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project execution aligns with the plan. Responsibilities include monitoring work progress against the master project schedule, overseeing on-site work alignment with drawings and specifications, and notifying contractors of schedule delays. The role also involves ensuring adherence to work standards, anticipating and addressing bottlenecks, advising on resource productivity enhancement, monitoring procurement activities, and managing contract administration. Additionally, the Assistant Project Manager assists in quality assurance and quality control, implements safety standards, and reports abnormal developments to the project manager. Collaborating with the project manager, clarifying specifications, and managing construction activities, milestones, budgets, and risk are also key responsibilities. The role includes providing cost-saving solutions, negotiating change orders, and overseeing project construction and safety management plans. The ideal candidate holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering with 4 to 10 years of experience in building projects. Technical knowledge of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works is essential. Strong organizational, motivational, observation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
