Job Description

About the Role:

Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Timeline Ownership

  • Prepare detailed project schedules, execution plans, and resource allocation charts.
  • Monitor site progress daily and issue comprehensive

    Daily & Weekly Progress Reports

    to management.
  • Take complete ownership of project timelines, ensuring adherence to committed delivery and handover dates.

2. Site Execution & Technical Supervision

  • Oversee day-to-day execution across civil, interior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting works.
  • Supervise and verify installations (ceilings, flooring, partitions, furniture, finishes) as per drawings and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure technical accuracy, finish quality, and compliance with approved specifications.

3. Vendor, Contractor & Resource Management

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely material delivery and manpower deployment.
  • Validate contractor bills and daily work logs, ensuring alignment with site progress.
  • Build and maintain dependable working relationships for smooth execution support.

4. Client Coordination & Escalation Handling

  • Serve as the primary client interface for all site-related updates and queries.
  • Provide prompt and professional communication to address escalations or design-execution concerns.
  • Organize client walkthroughs, update meetings, and status reviews with clear documentation.

5. Quality, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain rigorous quality checks and safety protocols on site.
  • Track budgets, flag variances, and share MIS updates on progress, costs, and materials.
  • Ensure documentation readiness for audits and handover stages.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • 58 years of experience in

    high-end interior project execution

  • Strong technical grasp of civil, MEP, HVAC, and finishing works.
  • Proficiency in

    AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and reporting dashboards

  • Excellent communication and

    client-handling skills

    , with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to lead independently with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

    or

    Degree/Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.

  • PMP certification

    or formal project management training will be an advantage.
