Job Summary:

The Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics) will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate pharmacy courses, guiding students, contributing to academic research, and supporting departmental development. The faculty member is expected to deliver high-quality teaching in pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology, participate in curriculum development, and engage in scholarly activities.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Teaching & Academic Duties

• Teach courses related to Pharmaceutics, including:
• Physical Pharmaceutics
• Pharmaceutical Technology
• Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics
• Industrial Pharmacy
• Novel Drug Delivery Systems
• Dispensing & Community Pharmacy
• Conduct theory and practical classes as per the academic schedule.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and lab work.
• Supervise B.Pharm/M.Pharm project work where applicable.
• 3. Required Qualifications & Skills
• M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from a recognized university (as per PCI/AICTE norms).
• Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in pharmaceutics.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle laboratory classes and instrumentation.
