Role Overview: As an Assistant Professor at National Teachers Training College, Patna, your primary responsibility will be delivering quality education to B.Ed. students in the Education Department. You will play a crucial role in guiding students to become competent educators by conducting subject lectures, practical sessions, mentoring students, and ensuring adherence to NCTE guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and evaluation tools for effective teaching. - Conduct subject lectures, practical sessions, and supervise students during teaching practice and project work. - Participate actively in seminars, workshops, educational tours, and institutional events. - Promote research, discipline, and academic excellence within the institution. - Contribute to institutional development, curriculum review, and accreditation activities. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Master's degree in Education (M.Ed.) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. - Graduation/post-graduation in a relevant school subject. - UGC NET/SLET qualification is preferred as per NCTE norms. - Ph.D. in Education or a relevant subject is desirable. - Experience in B.Ed. or teacher training institutions is an advantage. - Familiarity with NCTE, UGC, and university policies is preferred.
